Barry Griffin

Spine Specialist

 

Barry began working in the spinal implant segment in 2006.  He started with Novus Surgical and Spine covering Utah and Nevada.  Since then, Barry has worked closely with Spinal Elements, AlphaTec Spine, DePuy Spine, K2M, Spineart and Evologics. Outside of spinal implants, Barry has also worked with V.Mueller neuro/spine instruments, Duraseal, BFW headlights and numerous companies in the neurosurgery and orthopedic spine surgery space. He currently works closely with a number of neuro and orthopedic surgeons in Colo. and Utah covering their spinal implant needs.


Ashley VanVoorst

Spine and Pain Management Specialist

Ashley joined Griffin Surgical in July of 2013 after she graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Psychology; concentrating in Mind Brain and Behavior. Ashley's scope of responsibilty lies within providing doctors support with there kyphoplasty, spinal implant and bracing needs. She grew up in Arizona and loves traveling with her family and friends, doing art, and fitness. 


Ryan Rooney

Spine and Pain Management Specialist

Ryan Rooney started in Medical Device Sales with DePuy Spine in 2009.  He holds a degree in Finance from St. Louis University.  After St. Louis University, he relocated to Colorado where he started working as an Assosiate for DePuy Spine.  In 2012, Ryan joined Barry at Griffin Surgical and has been closely working on business development and new product initiatives.  


Ryan Fields

Spine and Pain Management Specialist 

 

Ryan Fields is a Colorado native and University of Northern Colorado graduate.  Prior to joining Griffin Surgical, Ryan spent a year training in regenerative medicine and stem cell technologies, with a primary focus on pain management, urology, podiatry and orthopedics.  He takes pride in customer service and educating physicians on the benefits of regenerative medicine, specifically with the use of amnion.  In his spare time, Ryan enjoys weight lifting, camping, skiing, air chairing and spending time with his family. 

 


Steve Sahlin

Spine and Pain Management Specialist

Steve entered into the spinal implant arena in 2008 with Novus Surgical by selling implants and instruments to surgeons and providing clinical support in Utah, Idaho, Nevada and to the US Army Medical Department (USAMMA). After that Steve has worked with numerous neuro and orthopedic implant and instrument companies including: AlphaTec, Aesculap, Boss Instruments, LDR, Olympus, Spinal Elements and Trinity-Orthopedics. He also worked as a clinical trainer for Amedica and developed training and surgical techniques for the US and Germany. In 2015 Steve joined Barry with Griffin Surgical & Spine and provides quality service and support with spinal implants and pain management products to neuro and orthopedic surgeons. Steve studied German and Business at BYU (BA) and holds an MA from UMASS Amherst. He enjoys skiing, hiking and spending time with his family.
